Every day, people in today’s society have foods that have gone through some form of processing. Some of these foods are also packaged in ways that make them convenient to transport or store for long periods of time.

However, many health agencies in several countries are concerned about the effect that some of these packaging materials can have on our health. For example, plastic juice bottles and plastic water bottles contain the chemical antimony.

This chemical has been shown to be harmful to the human body when it is ingested.   The antimony poisoning risk associated with this chemical has led to swift action by many consumers, who try to avoid coming in contact with the toxin.
